Baron Sport was one of the most fascinating stores that I can remember in the nineteen forties. My father was a regular customer and he would take me to the store to buy fishing and hunting equipment every now and then. All of that merchandise has now moved to Canadian Tire with pots and pans, automobile parts and lawn mowers. It is not an improvement.
Au moins il a pas été rasé...
A noter que la Ville de Montreal a acquis le building... A voir ce qu'ils vont en faire.

Tristement ce batiment centenaire n'a plus rien de beau sinon qu'un souvenir.
Baron sport tirerait profit de mettre en valeur la pointe du batiment. Retirer ce mur de briques fade et sans rapport avec le batiment serait deja pas mal et au lieu de fenetres cadrées de briques inapropriées des vitrine entiere.
Bref il y a à faire.
