Coups de Coeur – Dramatik Shines a Light on Montreal North in l’Oubli

Forgive me for jumping on the bandwagon here, and posting the song L'Oubli by local artist Dramatik.
In the music video, a business man gets a surprise tour of Montreal North when he steps into a taxi with the artist at the wheel, singing "as-tu oublié qu'on vivait ici?" ("did you forget that we lived here?")
In an interview with Stefan Christoff in the Hour, Dramatik descirbes how the video pays homage his neighbourhood:
"L'Oubli shows the socio-economic divide in our own city, between downtown and Montreal North, while showing that Montreal North isn't a bad place.
L'Oubli is a conscious contrast to other hip-hop videos that always show communities that are broken and poor. My video doesn't show all the stereotypes of the hood, but the beauty of my neighbourhood in struggle. It's a stereotype hood, but it's a real and vibrant community."

I think that Montréal is in danger of becoming like Paris, where the centre of the city is only for rich folks and lower classes are stuck in the periphery of downtown. This can only create problems. I wish the city council would think strategically about the value of public goods, and facilitate ways for gentrification and neighbourhood preservation to unwind symbiotically. Instead, they take money from rich developers and incentivize the condominium-big-box-shopping-mall future for us all. Why the hell would rich people want to live in STERILE communities where there is no vibe, no history, and no localized economy? What is happening to St-Henri, Petit-Bourgogne and Griffintown? Bravo, Dramatik, for telling it like it is. Bien joué.
Very well done! Do you know of a site that has the lyrics to this song in English? My French is not very good, and I'd like to know what he is saying.
