cats and bikes and flowers

A flower shop spills onto the sidewalk brightening up Bernard street on a rainy November day. They've even got plants on top of the van!

That cat runs this shop. It just stands around waiting for someone to stop to pet him; sales will follow :P

Hey - you didn't take that picture today (Saturday) did you? I took a whole bunch of her beautiful flowers this morning too! The sunlight was perfect....

Is this near Waverly?

I was born on Waverly between Bernard and St. Viateur after WWII. Left Montreal in 68 and have only been back once.

Living in Maui last 35 years.

Yes that is the corner of Waverly that is visible in the background.

I wonder if Tammey Lau (the owner) ever got the exemption she was hoping for to keep these flowers out. If not, she must be knee-deep in fines! The city was trying to get $6000 from her back in 2006 (http://www.hour.ca/news/news.aspx?iIDArticle=10547).

Good luck, Tammey!
