I walked by this intersection when visiting my sister in London a couple of weeks ago. It was under renovation and it was almost impossible to cross Regent street without having to wait a few minutes. Both streets were more dense with pedestrians than any street I had ever seen in my life (and I lived in Caracas!). I used to think Ste-Catherine street was busy but believe me, it's not. Central London was beautiful, but it was just too much for me.

Here is an image of the "before." I don't know if the "[IMG]" thing works in this blog.
