La prison des Patriotes a figuré sur l'étiquette de la vinasse "Cuvée des Patriotes" de triste mémoire.

Guillaume, on aperçoit une grande pelouse verte du côté est de l'avenue De Lorimier, entre la prison et l'édifice de la CSN. Si je me rappelle bien, c'était l'emplacement de "Canadian White Lead"; le terrain était très pollué. C'est quoi maintenant?

Good photo of rue de lormier from pont Jacques Cartier east sidewalk. This bridge has great views of Montreal, although most are from the west side sidewalk.

note: notre dame project is to rebuild Notre Dame street (the one with the trucks on it in the photo) as either a super highway a la decarie/ville marie or a pleasant urban boulevard... depending on whether the Minister of Cars or the City for people wins the argument.

Your photo finally proves to me where the Confederate rebels who robbed the banks of St. Albans were imprisoned. The rebel leader called it Payette's Hotel after the jailer Louis Payette.
Thank you. The front door matched the picture I have of the rebels.
