Visionary architecture at the Cinéma du Parc

Next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, the Cinéma du Parc will present three documentaries on architecture: Great Expectations, and Kochuu, a double bill, and Moshe Safdie, The Power Of Architecture. Here's a description of the first two:
You are invited to a journey through innovative, futurist, revolutionary and ecotopist architectural visions. Great Expectations introduces us to the most significant architectural movements and personalities of the 20th century, including, Le Corbusier' iconic buildings, Buckminster Fuller's geodesic domes, Moshe Safdie's Habitat '67, Antti Lovag's Palais Bulles, Oscar Niemeyer's urban designs for Brasilia or Jacque Fresco's utopian urban project. This documentary intertwines archival footage, animation and interviews with a rare sense of rhythm. As part of the same event, Kochuu present some leading contemporary Japanese architects and their impact on the European Nordic building tradition.
Each screening of Great Expectations and Kochuu will be introduced by "an architect." Tickets can be purchased online or at the cinema's box office in the Galeries du Parc.

A new trend has come into existence among the new breed of architects to deviate themselves from the orthodox methods of architecture.Keeping in mind the resources available and the purpose of their development,they have schemed a technique to implement new age building design so that culture ,heritage and their personal influences can be incorporated with these developments.This needs to be encouraged so as to create a whole new trend of culture based town planning and talent recognition.
